Terms and Conditions

Preamble

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the CosmosGrid Platform Blueprint ("Toolkit") provided by CosmosGrid ("Company") to the user ("User").

By requesting access to, downloading, or using the Toolkit, the User agrees to these Terms.

1. Scope of the Toolkit

1.1 Platform Blueprint

The CosmosGrid Platform Blueprint is a free infrastructure and DevOps toolkit designed to help teams deploy modern cloud platforms using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows.

The Toolkit may include:

• Infrastructure as Code templates
• AWS networking and EKS configurations
• Argo CD GitOps bootstrapping
• Kubernetes platform components
• Monitoring and observability tooling
• Security and secrets management integrations
• Deployment documentation and architecture examples
• CI/CD and operational best practices

1.2 Documentation

The Toolkit may include supporting documentation such as:

• Deployment guides
• Architecture diagrams
• Environment configuration examples
• Operational recommendations
• Usage instructions and examples

1.3 Modifications

CosmosGrid reserves the right to modify, update, replace, or discontinue any portion of the Toolkit at any time without prior notice.

1.4 Additional Services

Any consulting, implementation, support, customization, or managed services provided by CosmosGrid are outside the scope of the free Toolkit and may require a separate agreement.

2. Usage Terms

2.1 Free Usage

The Toolkit is provided free of charge and may be used, modified, and adapted by the User for internal business or development purposes.

2.2 User Responsibility

The User is solely responsible for:

• Infrastructure deployment decisions
• Cloud resource configuration
• Security settings and permissions
• Compliance requirements
• Operational management of deployed environments

2.3 No Included Support

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, the Toolkit does not include:

• Technical support
• SLAs or uptime guarantees
• Managed services
• Infrastructure monitoring
• Security auditing
• Consulting services

2.4 Third-Party Services

The Toolkit may integrate with third-party platforms and technologies including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo CD, Helm, Grafana, Prometheus, and others. The User is responsible for complying with all applicable third-party licenses, pricing, and usage requirements.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Ownership

All Toolkit materials, configurations, templates, documentation, and related content remain the intellectual property of CosmosGrid unless otherwise stated.

3.2 License

CosmosGrid grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use and modify the Toolkit for internal use.

3.3 Restrictions

The User may not:

• Resell the Toolkit as a standalone product
• Redistribute the Toolkit commercially without written permission
• Misrepresent ownership of the Toolkit or its components

3.4 Third-Party Technologies

All third-party technologies included or referenced remain the property of their respective owners.

4. Disclaimer and Warranty

4.1 Provided "As Is"

The Toolkit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

4.2 No Guarantees

CosmosGrid does not guarantee:

• Compatibility with all environments
• Error-free operation
• Security compliance
• Business outcomes
• Infrastructure performance
• Continuous availability

4.3 User Assumes Risk

The User assumes full responsibility for deploying and operating infrastructure built using the Toolkit.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CosmosGrid shall not be liable for:

• Infrastructure failures
• Security incidents
• Data loss
• Downtime
• Cloud provider costs
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Toolkit

6. Privacy

Any information submitted through CosmosGrid forms or download requests will be handled in accordance with the CosmosGrid Privacy Policy.

CosmosGrid may use submitted information to:

• Respond to inquiries
• Provide access to the Toolkit
• Share relevant updates, resources, or service offerings

Users may opt out of communications at any time.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws applicable in the State of Florida, United States, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Changes to Terms

CosmosGrid may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Toolkit constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
